UptimeRobot alternative: when an up-check is not enough
UptimeRobot is a good tool that answers one question very well: does this address respond? This page is for people who have found out that a site can respond and still not be working.
Last updated: 4 November 2026
The short answer
- Stay with UptimeRobot if you need many addresses watched, checks every minute or faster, servers and APIs covered, or monitoring for free. Quivermark does not compete on any of those.
- Look at Quivermark if you own a website or look after clients’ websites and want to know the things customers would hit: the form that stopped sending, the checkout that broke, the setting that hid you from Google. It alerts in plain English, so you do not need to be technical.

UptimeRobot’s side is read from its own pricing page on 4 November 2026. “Not listed” means that page does not mention it, not that it can never be done. Prices and plans change, so check there before you decide. Quivermark is not connected with UptimeRobot.
Why an up-check misses so much
An up-check asks your server for a page and looks at the answer. If the server says “OK”, all is well, even if the form underneath has been broken for a month, or the booking button leads nowhere. Keyword monitors get closer, but you have to know in advance what to look for, and they read a page without pressing anything.
Quivermark opens your pages in a real browser, follows the links, tries the ways people reach you, and reads your email records and domain date, then tells you what it found and what to do about it. It runs 26 checks on Starter and 34 on Business.
Can I use both?
Yes. They do not get in each other’s way. Some people keep a fast up-check for their server and add Quivermark for everything customers actually touch.
